Senior Product Designer (UX/UI) 4-Day Workweek

cpit comparit GmbH is an IT service and technology-providing company head-quartered in Hamburg, Germany. Since 2023 we have been located with a company branch in Prishtina.

cpit comparit GmbH offers an open platform for insurance comparisons and application processes. Our goal is to provide the best software for the insurance industry, precise comparisons, digital processes, and state-of-the-art technology. Therefore we rely on innovative technologies and highly committed employees in Germany and Kosovo. 

As part of our continued growth, we are looking for a Senior Product Designer (UX/UI) to help shape our in-house insurance platform. You take requirements from clients, product managers and management, analyse and visualise them, and present them as clear mockups and interactive prototypes. You work user-centred, master modern tools such as Figma, and use AI-assisted design workflows to move from idea to polished design faster.

Responsibilities 

• Take requirements from clients, product managers and management and turn them into clear design concepts.

• Analyse, visualise and present ideas as wireframes, mockups and interactive prototypes.

• Design intuitive, high-fidelity UI for our in-house insurance product in Figma.

• Build and maintain a scalable design system and reusable UI components.

• Use AI-assisted design tools to speed up ideation, iteration and prototyping.

• Work closely with developers to ensure feasible, pixel-accurate implementation.

• Present and defend design decisions to stakeholders and gather feedback.

• Mentor junior designers and promote design best practices.

Requirements

• A degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Media or a comparable field, or equivalent experience.

• 5+ years of professional experience in product, UX/UI or digital design.

• A strong portfolio showing end-to-end work: research, wireframes, UI and design systems.

• Expert proficiency in Figma (components, auto-layout, variables, prototyping).

• Proven experience turning client and business requirements into intuitive user interfaces.

• Comfortable using AI tools as part of your design workflow.

• Solid understanding of user-centred design, accessibility and responsive design.

• Excellent communication skills and very good English (German is a plus).

Nice to have

• Familiarity with front-end basics (HTML/CSS, Tailwind) to collaborate closely with developers.

• Experience with motion design, micro-interactions and animated prototypes.

• Experience in insurance, fintech or other complex, data-rich domains.

• German language skills.
