REMOTE .NET Back-End Developer

The applications have been designed in response to challenges and needs the teams have faced when conducting research, TPM, evaluation, capacity assessment and development work in over 21 countries around the world.

Tasks and responsibilities 

• Build new applications and enhancements to existing web applications, along with related infrastructure
• When necessary, act as product Team Leader and supervise the development of software applications from design, to deployment, evaluation, and maintenance.
• Provide ongoing maintenance, tracking support and enhancements in existing systems and platforms.
• Write clean C# codes
• Contribute in all phases of the development lifecycle
• Develop and deploy new features to facilitate related procedures and tools if necessary
• Defining front end and back end architecture for responsive websites and software applications.
• Building reusable code and libraries for future use
• Optimization of the application for maximum speed and scalability
• Conduct software debugging processes including the technical analysis and testing of the developed product according to the i-APS’s requirements, and recommend solutions to identified technical issues.
• Implementation of security and data protection
• Design and implementation of data storage solutions
• Possess good communication skills and willingness to work in a team
• Provide technical expertise in facilitating the recruitment procedures for new local programmers/developers.
• Identify and suggest necessary training on coding skills (including specific programming languages) for staff members in Kosovo engaged in developing software applications

Skills to be demonstrated: 

• Proficient knowledge of a back-end programming languages and frameworks, such as: C#, .NET Core, Entity Framework, SQL Server, API 
• Proven experience in software development and maintenance 
• Demonstrated experience with N-Tiered applications, MVC design patterns, etc. 
• Understanding of accessibility and security compliance practices 
• User authentication and authorization between multiple systems, servers, and environments  
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Github 

Eligibility:

Professional Experience:

A minimum of 2 years work experience as a .Net Developer.
