Job Summary

We are seeking a Software Engineer, Back-End to join a fast-paced, collaborative team focused on building advanced tools for legal professionals. You'll work primarily with C# and .Net, contributing to intelligent systems that leverage AI and advanced filtering to process and surface critical insights from large volumes of data. In this role, you’ll collaborate with a cross-functional team of engineers and product experts to solve challenging problems, improve system performance, and shape the architecture of a modern legal tech platform.

Responsibilities & Duties

• Participate in the development of new features and expand existing features.
• Add support for new platforms to our existing products and develop new products.
• Develop and review designs, code, unit tests, system tests, and documentation.
• Collaborate in root cause analysis; diagnose, isolate, and fix software problems.
• Create applications using one of C#.
• Design and implement for reuse and flexibility of design.
• Demonstrate your work product to your team.
• Identify and correct issues that impact performance, reliability, and scalability.
• Investigate and develop skills in new technologies.

Requirements and Skills

• Extensive knowledge in one of C# and .NET.
• Extensive knowledge of the software development lifecycle to include agile methodologies, code quality, and continuous integration/continuous delivery.
• Driven to build modern systems that emphasize user experience and aesthetics.
• Excellent writing and written/verbal communication skills.
• An eagerness to learn, explore and introduce new technologies.
• Knowledge of application development and testing preferred.

Mandatory Requirement

The position does not allow collaboration under Business-to-Business (B2B) contract arrangements. Candidates must be willing to enter into a standard employment relationship, fully aligned with current labor laws and regulations.

Education & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• 4+ years’ work experience in back-end software engineering.
• Experience creating and consuming RESTful interfaces.
