Hiring Position – Accounting Specialist

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Accounting Specialist to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting activities, preparing reconciliations, and supporting the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. Proficiency in QuickBooks and a strong understanding of accounting principles are essential for this role.

Responsibilities:

Perform daily, monthly, and quarterly reconciliations of accounts to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Prepare and maintain monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial statements in line with accounting standards.
Record, classify, and summarize financial transactions in compliance with company policies and procedures.
Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely processing and accuracy.
Maintain accurate general ledger entries and supporting documentation.
Support the month-end and year-end closing processes.
Ensure compliance with local tax regulations and assist with tax filings.
Work closely with auditors, providing necessary documentation and explanations. • Generate financial reports and provide insights to management for decision-making.
Assist in process improvement initiatives to streamline accounting operations.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Minimum of 2–4 years of professional accounting experience.
Proficiency in QuickBooks and MS Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, etc.).
Strong knowledge of GAAP/IFRS accounting principles.
Experience in financial statement preparation and reconciliation.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
High attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Salary:

• €1,200 per month
