Course Development Manager for IT Security 

1. Overview
PECB is looking for a Course Development Manager (CDM) to join its IT Training Development team in Prishtina, Kosovo. 2. Job Purpose 
A Course Development Manager for IT Security is responsible for developing PECB’s main product: training courses. The candidate will have the opportunity to work from Kosovo in an international environment and be engaged in the development of training courses and materials related to information security, cybersecurity, cloud security, data protection and privacy, ethical hacking, information security risk management, business continuity, etc. During the development process, CDMs should be able to familiarize themselves with the topic and are expected to conduct the necessary research and collect reliable and relevant pieces of information and synthesize them into new and original content that is easily comprehensible, accurate, and well written in English. 
Usually, the candidate that best fits this position is somebody who is willing to learn new things continuously, is interested in the trends and advancements of information technology, likes to read, is able to acquaint themselves with previously unknown topics/concepts, has strong attention to detail, and has excellent English comprehension and writing skills. 


3. Responsibilities 
A Course Development Manager for IT Security is expected to: 
 Develop, design, improve and update educational content (training courses, written exercises, quizzes, correction keys, case studies, exams, training course samples) 
 Develop, improve, and update marketing content (articles, whitepapers, brochures, course descriptions) related to educational content 
 Develop training course content on various subjects associated with information technology based on ISO standards or other best practices, such as information security, cybersecurity, cloud security, data protection and privacy ethical hacking, information security risk management, business continuity, digital transformation, computer forensics, etc. 
 Seek for ideas and opportunities to improve the educational content 
 Communicate and work closely with the supervisor, team members, and members of other departments, especially when it comes to improving the educational content 
 Work on projects during various stages of development 
 Stay up to date with the newest trends in the industry and develop an understanding of the target audience and the market 
 Contribute to the implementation of new initiatives 
 Perform other related duties as assigned by the management 

4. Preferred Competencies 
 Bachelor’s degree (or attending their last year of studies) in Cybersecurity, Information Security, IT Security, Computer Sciences, IT, Programming, Telecommunications, Networking, or a combination of equivalent experience and/or education 
 Advanced English reading comprehension and writing skills. Academic writing skills are an advantage. 
 Excellent research skills 
 Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint) is mandatory 
 Strong attention to detail 
 Willingness to continuously learn new topics/concepts 
 Willing to learn and grow as well as to challenge and contribute to ideas 
 Must work well under pressure, think outside the box, and be able to follow up in a dynamic environment 
 Excellent interpersonal skills 
 Ability to work effectively with people from various levels of the organization 
 Be open to receiving feedback and constructive criticism, and make improvement on the tasks as requested
