Job Description
The Marketing Video Specialist is expected to create animations, technology product videos, and video-editing to help the product marketing team deliver the intended company & product message. It is expected that the Marketing Video Specialist has the necessary creative & technical skillset to visually communicate the intended marketing message. Reports to the Product Marketing Supervisor.
Job Responsibilities
- Develop full videos, from initiation to completion, including editing
- Develop storyboards and storylines in conjunction with marketing campaigns and initiatives
- Work with Product Marketing to incorporate messaging within the storylines
- Develop a vast array of video types, including product videos, animations, etc.
- Ability to incorporate music, interviews, sound clips, and other project aspects within the videos
- Develop GIFs and other animative visual content
- Maintain brand consistency and adhere to branding guidelines during video and digital content creation
- Help design digital media campaigns to align with business goals
- Suggest and implement direct marketing methods to increase profitability
- Stay up-to-date with digital media developments
Qualifications
- Experience in creative tools for graphic design and video like Photoshop, Illustrator, or other
Sound experience in video-editing tools, audio-editors, and animative tools like Adobe After Effects - Motion Graphics and Motion Design
- Proven work experience in the digital marketing field or as a Digital Media Specialist
- BSc degree in Marketing, Digital media or relevant field/ Qualified experienced may be substituted for education
- Excellent communication & analytical skills to have a solid understanding of the requirements
- Experience with visual communication principles and creative skillset for animative and video storytelling
- An ability to multitask and perform under tight deadlines
