Software Developer AEC Europe (https://aeceurope.com/) is the automotive solutions company and official importer of DODGE and RAMvehicles into Europe in cooperation with the manufacturer Fiat Chrysler Automobiles(FCA).
Become part of our growing team as a Software Developer, you will bring ourinternal IT system to the next level.
Responsibilities:
• Program and implement new functionalities for our software applications (including, coding, codereviews and unit testing)
• Describe, develop and maintain software
• Create EDI/API for various third party suppliers
• Support to create necessary technical documentation in support of programming and design activities
The Ideal Candidate Will Demonstrate the Following Skills and Abilities
• Passion for developing software
• Knowledge on the technologies the new system will be using;
• JavaScript / TypeScript
• Databases: MariaDB, MySQL or Redis
• Modern JavaScript Frameworks
• Team player – effective work within a team
• A proactive mind-set, someone who takes initiatives, shares their ideas and brings them to life
• Basic knowledge of Cloud Provider (Azure or AWS) will be a plus
Knowledge on the technologies around our existing system is appreciated:
• Perl (5.26+), experience with Moose, DBIx-Class, Mojolicious
• Memcache, Git, CI/CD
• Experience with maintaining Linux servers is appreciatedEducation & Experience
• A completed Bachelor’s degree, within a related IT discipline
• First working experience as Developer (m/f/d)
