In the American School of Kosova we are seeking a new graphic designer to join our team. You will be designing a wide variety of things across digital and offline media. To be successful in this position, you’ll be a self-starter, capable of delivering brilliant creative ideas, and show amazing attention to detail.

Role and Responsibilities     

• The Graphic Designer creates visual communications, incorporating images and text into company logos and promotional materials.
• Planning concepts by studying relevant information and materials.
• Preparing rough drafts of material based on an agreed brief.
• Design layouts, including selection of colors, images, and typefaces.
• illustrating concepts by designing examples of art arrangement, size, type size and style and submitting them for approval.
• Managing team’s proposals from typesetting through to design.
• Use digital illustration, photo editing software, and layout software to create designs.
• Coordinating with the Marketing Manager as necessary.
• Contributing to team efforts by accomplishing tasks as needed.
• Creating a wide range of graphics and layouts, company documents, social media designs, posters and other printing files, with software such as Photoshop, Illustrator, In Design.
• Reviewing final layouts and suggesting improvements when necessary.
• Incorporate changes recommended by CM/colleagues into final designs.
• Any other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

 

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in graphic design or related field.
• Experience as a graphic designer or in a related field.
• Demonstrable graphic design skills with a strong portfolio.
• Proficiency with required desktop publishing tools, including Photoshop, InDesign Quark, and Illustrator.
• Effective time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
• Understanding of marketing, production, website design, advertisements, and multimedia design.
