The American School of Kosova is looking for a full time Learning Specialist for the academic school year 2021/22. If you are passionate about teaching and learning, and sharing your passion with students, we would love to meet you!
General Qualifications:
- BA in Pedagogy or Special Education is required, MA in Inclusive Education is prefered
- Speak and write English at a professional level
- Minimum 3 years teaching experience, Learning Specialist prefered
Job Requirements:
- Experience teaching students in variety of classes and age groups with a modified curriculum
- Excellent professional skills of collaborative and communication
- Effective classroom management skills
- Ability to work effectively with students, teachers, parents, and school administration.
- Maintain communication and documentation protocols with principals related to learning support per individual student.
- Self-motivated with a positive attitude
- Demonstrate professionalism, confidence, and a strong work ethic inside and outside the classroom
- Keeping student confidentiality files up to date with all required information pertaining to student learning support.
