We are looking for an experienced and versatile Magento Developer to join our team of passionate and driven individuals in our office in Pristina. You will be part of a team that is responsible for all aspects of the ongoing software development from the initial specifications, to developing, to testing, and launching.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and build premium Magento e-commerce (Backend and/or Frontend).
- Troubleshoot, test, and maintain the core product software and databases, if needed, to ensure strong optimization and functionality before passing to the quality assurance team.
- Follow industry best practices.
- Work closely with designers, business analysts, project managers, and software engineers to ensure design standards are met throughout the lifecycle of the project.
- Participate in discussions with team members about technical best practices and help identify optimal technical solutions.
- Engage in outside-the-box thinking to provide high value-of-service to clients.
- Stay up to date on the latest trends and emerging technologies within the open-source community.
Requirements:
- Proven software development experience of at least 1 year in Magento.
- Excellent knowledge of web technologies including PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, AJAX, etc.
- Excellent knowledge of relational databases, version control tools, and of developing web services.
- Excellent understanding of object-oriented design concepts, and software development processes and methods.
- Must have passion for development and latest technologies.
- Passion for best designing and coding practices, and a desire to develop new bold ideas.
- BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- English is a must.
