Job brief:

We are looking for a Movement Control and Transport Specialist to provide necessary support for projects within our team. Taking directions over various project aspects Movement Control and Transport Specialist should help implement project goals as directed by the project manager. This role requires Responsible for receiving, validating and processing all transportation movement requests (TMR), overseeing project goals, creating and delivering reports, analyzing data from project execution, preparing time schedules.

Type: Regular Full-Time
 

Responsibilities:

• Works directly with project managers to help implement movement and transportation project goals.
• Analyzes work process and develops matrix for measuring performance. Prepares, compiles, and submits reports on work schedule, activities, operations, and production.
• Confers with customer, supervisors, contractors, and other personnel to exchange information and resolve problems.
• Responsible for overseeing container management and the monthly container management inventory.
• Prepares documentation to coordinate with support for all container needs and requests.
• Oversee variable aspects of projects and provide direct assistance to ensure timely project execution.
• Overview project goals and ensure project goals are achievable.
• Assist with procuring materials and other items necessary for completing project goals.
• Coordinate with project managers and other project leads following project execution.
   

Qualifications:

• A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Administration and/or Logistics.
• 2-5 years of proven and successful experience in Movement Control and Transport
• Verifiable leadership experience and capabilities, with past successful project execution.
• Ability and desire to work collaborative to ensure successful project execution.
• Working knowledge of necessary industry-related tools.
• Must have complete knowledge of transportation documentation; TCMDS; packing list and MSLs; loading of containers, pallets, and flat racks.
• Must have moderate skill in Microsoft applications, proven ability to generate and deliver reports that provide useful insight into project details.
• Highly organized and detail-oriented with a passion for ensuring projects proceed efficiently and effectively.
• Container Management experience is preferred,
• Prior training with TC-AIMS is preferred.
