GSI is currently seeking to employ a .NET Developer

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Candidates must possess at least a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent
• At least 6 years of work experience in using .Net (VB), C#, ASP.Net MVC, WebForms, Web Services, WPF, Entity Framework, and MS SQL Server
• Experience in personally handling SQL Server backend
• Proven experience in system architecture, design patterns, UI/UX design considerations 
• Experience in software design and software engineering best practices
• Strong foundation with Object-Oriented Programming
• Experience in software reverse engineering is a plus
• Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
• Experience in working in Agile Development (Scrum)
• Preferably with exposure in using Project Management tools such as JIRA
• Preferably with exposure in using Version Control such as BitBucket using Git / SVN
• Very good English communication skill
• Must be willing to adapt to flexible working arrangements

 

Additional skills:

• Experience in Cross Platform development (Windows, IOS, Android) and deployment is an advantage
• Proven experience in Angular 5.0, JQuery, HTML, CSS is an advantage

 

Responsible for:

• Develop various Web and WPF applications
• Make sure all features are always working and bug-free
• Provide mentorship
• Analyze project requirements and provide solutions to any problems or issues at hand
• Debugging and optimization of codes Design, develop, and implement .NET technology solutions
• Develop software according to functional and technical design specifications
• Maintain an approach that serves to recognize potential design gaps and provide insight into closing them
• Assist in the continual improvement of software configuration management process
• Assess, troubleshoot, document, upgrade, and develop maintenance procedures
• Review codes for potential performance issues, reusability, and/or anomalies
• Detail unit testing of codes
• Provide direction/insight on existing and upcoming technologies that could be beneficial or affect the product
