Requirements

• At least 5 years in building high throughput/low latency servers
• At least 3 years of experience developing distributed systems
• Knowledge and experience with supporting production grade systems to ensure reliability, durability and performance
• Experienced with at least 1 common server side language such as Java/Rust/Scala/C/C++
• Good grasp on infrastructure and related tooling — AWS/GCP, CI/CD, Docker, networking, Linux
• At least basic experience with frontend languages and frameworks — js, typescript, react, html, css
• Desire to learn Go!

Responsibilities

• Develop high end solutions to the technical challenges we will face when working to fulfil our mission
• Maintain the product in production to ensure the best possible service to our customers
• Build a product that fits the market by taking part in analyzing the feedback from design partners and market
• Work in a trusted team and ensure others on the team feel safe and trusted

About the project

Our client has built an open-source platform that delivers resilience and manageability to object-storage based data lakes, the solution that works by extending existing object stores with advanced Git-like capabilities. Their mission is to simplify the lives of data engineers building data intensive applications.
