EPPC Kosovo, on behalf of its client, an innovative software and digital services company with over 21 years of experience in the Swiss market, is recruiting a Senior Java Developer.
Essential responsibilities:
- Producing code using Java;
- Upgrading, configuring, and debugging existing systems;
- Development of business-critical solutions for renowned customers;
- Creation and execution of unit tests.
Professional Expertise and Key Skills:
- Have successfully completed an apprenticeship in computer science or a corresponding study;
- Knowledge of the Java programming language;
- Experience with the following frameworks, or even have the corresponding certifications: Spring Framework, Java Persistence API 2.1, (preferably in conjunction with Hibernate), Jackson, JAX-RS, Vaadin (RIA Framework), Apache POI, XPages (Legacy);
- Knowledge in the following persistence technologies: Domino (Document Storage), SQL in general, but specifically MySQL, Postgres SQL;
- Expertise with Maven and other build tools. Also familiar with Websphere in connection with IBM Cloud;
- Knowledge of the programming languages PHP, Open Source CRM, VBA in connection with ODBC, DSN as well as Domino (Lotus Script and Lotus Forumla) would also be desirable;
- Fluency in English language. German proficiency would be a big advantage.
