Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced WordPress Developer who is proficient in developing and managing WordPress sites. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with WordPress, WPEngine, the Gutenberg editor, and PHP. This role requires strong problem-solving skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to work on-call as needed. Excellent communication skills and proficiency in English are essential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, maintain, and optimize WordPress websites.
• Customize WordPress themes and plugins to meet project requirements.
• Work with the Gutenberg editor to create and manage content blocks.
• Troubleshoot and resolve website issues and bugs.
• Ensure websites are responsive, user-friendly, and adhere to best practices in web development.
• Collaborate with the design and marketing teams to implement new features and improvements.
• Manage website hosting and deployment on WPEngine.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in WordPress and web development.
• Provide on-call support for urgent website issues as needed.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a WordPress Developer.
• Proficiency in WordPress, WPEngine, the Gutenberg editor, and PHP.
• Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and MySQL.
• Experience with responsive and adaptive design.
• Ability to convert comprehensive layout and wireframes into working HTML pages.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication skills and proficiency in English.
• Availability to provide on-call support as required.
• Able to work in the US Timezone
• Knowledge of version control systems, such as Git.
• Understanding of web performance optimization techniques.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with other web development frameworks and CMS platforms such as Hubspot.
