We are looking for a detail-oriented account payable specialist to control and monitor our expenses. You will be processing payments, verifying invoices, and performing account reconciliation.
Location: Prishtina, Kosovo
Type: Regular Full-Time
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Keeping track of all payments and expenditures, including payroll, purchase orders, invoices, statements, etc.
- Reconciling processed work by verifying entries and comparing system reports to balances
- Maintaining historical records
- Paying employees by verifying expense reports and preparing pay checks
- Paying vendors by scheduling pay checks and ensuring payment is received for outstanding credit; generally responding to all vendor enquiries regarding finance
- Preparing analyses of accounts and producing monthly reports
- Continuing to improve the payment process
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or associate's degree in accounting, finance, or related.
- At least 2 years experience as an accounts payable specialist, or similar.
- In-depth knowledge of accounts payable principles, accounting standards, and industry regulations.
- Extensive experience in account reconciliation.
- Keen attention to detail.
- Great time management and organizational skills.
- Excellent collaboration and communication abilities.
