Responsibilities

• Research and create high-quality, clear, and error-free content for a variety of industries  
• Proofread and edit all content for clarity, consistency, accuracy, tone, brand voice, and grammar while following SEO standards  
• Follow in-house processes and systems and work closely with other team members to ensure planned content is delivered on quality and time
• Organize writing schedules, manage time, and establish priorities while maintaining flexibility to respond to changing demands to complete drafts of content or finished projects within deadlines.  
• Publish blog content on websites using WordPress and other platforms

 

Required Skills

• Able to write 4-5 articles a week with a minimum word count of 1k per article
• Outstanding attention to detail including consistency and accuracy in writing; fact check, proofread and turn in quality – not rushed work  
• Ability to develop content according to SEO writing guidelines
• Comfortably vary voice, style, and other characteristics demanded by industry or target audience at hand  
• Team player with the ability to take and give constructive feedback  
• Highly motivated, dedicated, and independent with a sharp focus on completing projects in a timely and quality manner
• 6 months to 1-year experience in content writing (if applicants produce high-quality content on the given task, they will still be considered for the role even without the required experience)

 

Suggested Skills

• Experience using Google Docs/Sheets/Slides tools  
• Experience working with a remote team  
• An understanding of SEO writing principles
• Training will be provided if you don’t possess the above skills.
