- Job Purpose
A French-speaking eLearning Specialist is responsible for developing eLearning (virtual) training courses. During this process, the candidate should be able to contract trainers and video production crews for the recording of such training courses, review the videos, and ensure that feedback is integrated into the final version of the videos.
Usually, the candidate that best fits this position is somebody who is willing to learn new things continuously, likes to research and review, is detail-oriented, and has excellent comprehension and writing skills in English and French.
- Responsibilities
A French-speaking eLearning Specialistis expected to:
- Conduct in-depth and reliable research on industry-relevant topics
- Fact-check any data collected during the research process
- Develop original content on a range of subjects
- Create readable, easy-to-understand content tailored to the target audience
- Prepare well-structured, cohesive, and coherent drafts
- Write in a clear, concise, and error-free language
- Revise, edit, and proofread drafts
- Identify gaps in the company’s current content and generate ideas for new topics
- Review video pieces and give instructions and constructive feedback to video editors
- Ensure that feedback is integrated into video pieces accordingly
- Seek for ideas and opportunities to improve the virtual training courses
- Work cohesively within the team
- Perform other related duties as assigned by the management
- Preferred Competencies
- Full proficiency in both English and French
- Bachelor’s degree (or attending their last year of studies) in French Language, English, Economics, Education, Engineering, Sustainability and Environment, or a combination of equivalent experience and/or education
- Excellent research skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word
- Strong attention to detail
- Willingness to continuously learn new things
- Willing to learn and grow as well as to challenge and contribute to ideas
- Must work well under pressure, grasp new ideas quickly, think outside the box, and be able to follow up in a dynamic environment
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Be open to receiving feedback and constructive criticism and make improvement on tasks as requested
