Web Developer Vacancy

We are FarbenLöwe (www.farbenloewe.de), an Ecommerce with offices in Hamburg and Pristina with a staff of more than 50 people and with several years of experience. Our company specializes in producing and selling paints and lacquer. We have clients from all across Europe.

 

We are looking for JavaScript Developer to join our team of passionate and driven individuals at our Pristina Office. You will be part of a team that is responsible for all aspects of the ongoing software development from the initial specifications, from developing to testing and launching.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and build new web applications with a strong focus on maintainability, cross-browser compatibility and performance.
• Work effectively within an agile, deadline-driven production process to complete projects with rapid, iterative cycles.
• Work closely with designers, business analysts, project managers, and software engineers to ensure design standards are met throughout the lifecycle of the project.
• Participate in the ongoing development and implementation of front-end web coding and design standards, writing clear, clean, and concise code.
• Participate in discussions with team members about technical best practices and help identify optimal technical solutions.
• Stay current on the latest trends and emerging technologies within the FarbenLöwe community.

Requirements:

• Excellent understanding of the web, HTTP request lifecycle, page rendering, and DOM manipulation.
• Highly experienced in JavaScript, HTML5, CSS, AJAX, responsive web development.Familiarity and preferably experience with front-end frameworks such as Vue or React.Familiarity with common front-end development tools such as Webpack, Babel, NPM, etc.
• Experience designing, developing and documenting RESTful APIs.Familiarity with databases and web servers.
• Expertise in modern standards and best practices.
• The flexibility to work both independently and with a team to manage time across multiple projects and tasks in a team environment.
• To be a student of Computer Science, Engineering or related fields, owning a BS/MS degree is even better.
• English is a must. If you speak German language is even better but not a must.
