What will you do?

At PECB as a Graphic Designer of Learning Materials, you will be involved in designing content that supports educational and training programs, including e-learning modules, presentations, and other educational materials.

Typical Duties and Responsibilities

• Apply layouts and other design assets to create engaging and accessible designs for learning materials such as e-learning modules, handouts, instructional guides, infographics, and presentations.
• Work with content developers, editors, and other graphic designers to arrange content to enhance comprehension, accessibility, and learner engagement.
• Develop graphic assets, illustrations, icons, and other multimedia elements to support the learning content, ensuring visual consistency and clarity.
• Ensure all learning materials adhere to PECB’s brand guidelines while remaining adaptable to various content types and delivery methods.
• Stay updated on the latest design trends and instructional design strategies to continually improve the quality of educational materials.
• Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines are met without compromising quality.

Preferred Competencies

• Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or a related field; or a combination of equivalent experience and/or education;
• Proficiency in design software (Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop and Adobe InDesign)
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite, especially in PowerPoint and Word.
• Proficiency in English (written and verbal)
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Experience in creating learning materials or presentations is an advantage.
• Knowledge of Universal Design for Learning (UDL) principles is an advantage.
