HR Manager

Sutherland is seeking a dynamic and committed person to join our team as an HR Manager. Responsible for HR country operations in support of the business strategy. A key member of the Country management team and participates in business planning sessions. Acts as a trusted advisor by building strong business relationships with leaders and support functions. Oversee all HR activities, including (but not limited to) onboarding, performance management, retention, employee engagement and employee relations. 

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • HR Business Partner for Kosovo.
  • Determines people priorities in the context of industry/market trends and the business goals.
  • Coaches Service Delivery managers on people issues to create thriving culture and ensure best practice solutions for employees.
  • Ensures the organizational structure enables client focus, decision making and accountability.
  • Ensures compatibility with global HR practices.
  • Manages complex HR/ER and legal matters within the country.
  • Performance management: leads activity on performance improvement and provokes positive changes in people management.
  • Actively identifies people-related risks and proposes and implements changes necessary to mitigate risks.
  • Actively monitors and mitigates attrition risks.
  • Designs and maintains people metrics to proactively manage HR activity.
  • Maintains effective and efficient work relations with all functions in the country and on a geo level.

 

Job Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor's degree and above three years related HR experience.
  • Excellent knowledge of the English language - written and verbal. German knowledge would be an advantage.
  • Integrity and confidentiality are vital attitudes.
  • Comfortable working with a matrix structure. Taking accountability and promoting shared goals, able to deal with ambiguity.
  • Strong Business Acumen and a willingness to continue learning.
  • Excellent Leadership skills with people management experience.
  • Confident team player with the ability to work autonomously.
  • Excellent in communication, Analytical and Problem Solving, with the ability to prioritize.
  • Well-versed in labor laws and regulatory requirements, ensures up-to-date knowledge in these areas.
  • Performance, discipline and grievance management expertise.
  • Experience working with diverse cultures.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective and efficient work relations with all functions in the country and on a geo level.
