Kosbit is looking for professional, motivated, and passionate candidates for a full-time job position as a Junior Data Engineer.
 

Responsibilities:

• Use programming skills to develop, customize and manage integration tools, databases, warehouses, and analytical systems;
• Creation and maintenance of optimum data pipeline architecture for ingestion, processing of data;
• Creation of necessary infrastructure for ETL jobs from a wide range of data sources;
• Assembling of huge, complicated datasets that adhere to business needs;
• Collecting data requirements, maintaining metadata about data;
• Build analytics tools that utilize the data pipeline to provide actionable insights into customer acquisition, operational efficiency and other key business performance metrics;
• Identify, design, and implement internal process improvements: automating manual processes, optimizing data delivery, re-designing infrastructure for greater scalability, etc.;
• Keep data separated and secure across national boundaries through multiple data centers and AWS regions;
• Designs data integrations and data quality framework;
• Works closely with all business units and engineering teams to develop strategy for long term data platform architecture.
 

Requirements:

• Experience using with following skills: Data Warehouse, ELT, Columnar technologies – Snowflake
• Experience in Python as data structures (Python DB Connector)
• Experience working with cloud technologies and environments such as AWS (S3/EC2), Azure, Google Cloud and building, deploying, and managing applications within these environments
• Strong analytic skills related to working with unstructured datasets
• Problem solving and troubleshooting skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Good knowledge of English language
