What will YOU do?

We are seeking a dynamic Market Research Officer to drive our market intelligence efforts. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting market research, analyzing data, and providing insights to inform strategic decisions and enhance our market presence.

Key Responsibilities

• Collect and analyze data on consumers, competitors, and market conditions.
• Identify trends and insights to inform product development, marketing strategies, and business planning.
• Prepare and present reports on research findings to stakeholders.
• Monitor and evaluate industry developments and emerging trends in the region.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to provide data-driven recommendations for campaigns and initiatives.
• Support the Business Development team with market intelligence to identify new opportunities.
• Conduct competitive analysis to benchmark PECB’s offerings against competitors.
• Utilize various research methodologies, including surveys, interviews, focus groups, and data analysis.
• Maintain and update databases with relevant market information.
• Assist in the development of marketing materials by providing relevant research insights.
• Ensure all research activities comply with company policies and ethical standards.
• Checking/reading news in Google based on the keywords list.
• Collecting and analyzing data to determine market opportunities and industry trends.
• Be in touch with ISO committees and PECB network.

Preferred Requirements:

• A degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Proven experience in market research
• Proficiency in research tools and methodologies.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and generate actionable insights.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
• Ability to work independently (with minimum supervision) as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
• Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Ability to work well under pressure, grasp new ideas quickly, think outside the box, and keep up with a dynamic environment.
• Willing to learn and grow as well as to challenge and contribute to ideas.
• Strong interpersonal skills to engage with a diverse community of partners and colleagues.
• Self-motivated and proactive in staying current with industry developments.
