Medcargo Kosovo LLC, Finance – Junior Accountant 
 

We are looking for BSc Graduate of Finance, or Business Administration, or other relevant studies, 
for the position of “Junior Accountant” for our office in Kosovo, Prishtina, a well-established office 
providing services to the first in the World Liner(Container) Shipping Company.

In this position you will be assigned the role of assisting and following up on the daily financial and accounting 
related matters as required by the Financial Management.   

 

Key Responsibilities:

-Import / Export invoicing and archive of original invoices
-Calculate vessel’s additional expenses
-Maintain the general ledger and all related accounts with proper documentation and records 
 of all company transactions
-Bookkeeping for specific customers
-Maintain Customers’’ balances, ageing, reporting not invoiced yet to customer service 
-Create, subtract, and dispatch Statement of Accounts to customers
-Reconciliation of container return guarantees with hard copies and of invoices for specific vendors 
-Monitoring tax declarations and payments. Monitor payments of all taxes, Calculation, and submission 
  of corporate income tax, payroll taxes, value added tax and other declarations required to the tax authorities
- Preparation of monthly, daily and periodically reports as may be required by Financial Management
- Perform periodic checks/controls on company’s expenses
 

Qualifications: 

-2 years’ working experience in accounting/financial department 
-Excellent computer skills 
-Excellent knowledge of English language (verbal/written) 
-Attention to detail
-Team spirit along with the ability to work independently 
-Excellent communication skills 
-Willing to work and develop
