Part-time Online Exams Invigilator

We have a great opportunity for you to start earning something extra! We are looking for someone who is interested in joining our team of Online Exams Invigilators.

What does a PECB Online Exams Invigilator mainly do?

We at PECB offer a wide variety of certification schemes. For a customer to obtain a certificate, he/she is required to complete a certification exam first, and that while remotely being invigilated by one of our Online Exams Invigilators.

The purpose of the position will be also to promote and improve our customer service values by offering high-quality service before, during, and after customers complete their online exams with us.

Working schedule

We serve a global clientele, and we need an Invigilator to cover our customers residing in South East Asia countries, twice per week.

The working schedule is Wednesdays and Fridays, from 6 AM to 10 AM CET.

Typical duties and responsibilities

  • Think fast to find answers/solutions, and respond quickly to customers awaiting a solution, all with a polite, empathic, and professional voice and manner.
  • Handle every support case with the utmost level of professionalism and empathy.
  • Constantly offer support and manage incoming calls, emails, chats, and/or interactive voice response systems.
  • Provide technical assistance and guidance to online exam candidates.
  • Verify and validate online examination profiles.
  • Meet deadlines for all specific tasks.
  • Maintaining documentation procedures.
  • A meticulous approach to work and an eye for detail.
  • Maintain high-quality work while meeting tight deadlines.
  • Provide high-quality service to improve the overall Net Promoter Score.
  • Complete other administrative tasks related to online examination.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by management.

One is also required to have basic knowledge in troubleshooting technical issues related to internet connections, and computer peripheral devices (keyboard, mouse, webcam, microphone, etc). And it goes without saying that one must poses great customer service skills! Our customers are at the center of what we do, and their satisfaction is what keeps us going!

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or any other IT related fields;
  • 1 to 3 years of relevant proven professional experience;
  • Experience working with customers and colleagues located in different time zones;
  • Advanced knowledge of computer systems and MS Office applications;
  • Proficiency in English (written & verbal)
