Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for solving complex EWM-related issues, configuring inbound, outbound, and internal processes, and ensuring seamless integration with other SAP and non-SAP solutions. You will play a key role in workshops, testing, documentation, data migration, training, and post-go-live support.

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Inbound Processes: Configure and resolve high-complexity issues related to goods receipt, put-away strategies, and overall inbound processes.
• Outbound Processes: Manage and configure stock removal strategies, goods issue integration with production planning, value-added services, kitting, picking, and shipment.
• Internal Processes: Handle internal movements, physical inventory, and other internal configurations.
• Batch Management & Cross-Docking: Address complex batch management and cross-docking topics.
• Radio Frequency Framework: Utilize and optimize the Radio Frequency Framework within EWM.
• Integration: Ensure seamless integration with other SAP and non-SAP solutions.
• ABAP Debugging: Perform ABAP debugging to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
• Fit-to-Template Workshops: Prepare and execute workshops, documenting potential gaps and findings.
• Testing & Documentation: Consult local key users in test planning, preparation, and script localization. Document test results, bugs, and monitor re-testing.
• Data Migration & Cleansing: Support data migration and cleansing efforts on a functional level.
• Training Support: Provide training as needed to local key users and end-users.
• Customization: Assist in the preparation of functional specifications and testing.
• Cutover Planning: Consult in cutover planning and execution.
• Post-Go-Live Support: Support end users during the hyper care phase after Go-Live.

 

Technical Skills:

• Extensive SAP S4/HANA EWM process knowledge.
• Experience working on WM/EWM and IT projects.
• Strong customizing skills and/or experience as a solution lead.
• Proficiency in ABAP debugging.

 

Soft Skills:

• Excellent communication skills.
• Professional appearance and demeanor.
• Exceptional attention to detail.
• Well-organized with the ability to handle multiple tasks under pressure.
• Strong coordination skills with the capacity to lead and collaborate with colleagues effectively.

 

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in a Computer Science or relevant field or equivalent
• Minimum 7 years of experience working with SAP EWM or related platform-
• Training or vocational trainings are desirable
