What are we looking for:
Butler Hospitality is seeking to hire Software Developers to join our growing team in Kosovo. You will work with our Product Team to plan and execute on our roadmap, as well as working with our Tech Leads to enforce our technical vision and standards.
Qualifications:
- Computer Science/Engineering degree or relevant experience
- Proven min. 2 years of experience as Software Engineer (Mid-level to Senior)
- Proficient knowledge in: JavaScript, NodeJS, React, SQL/NoSQL, RESTful micro-services
- Prefered experience in: AWS Services, CI/CD pipelines, Serverless framework
- Analytical mind with problem-solving attitude
- Ability to work independently and in teams
- Practical knowledge of agile software development methodologies (e.g., XP, scrum)
- Self initiative and organizational skills
Responsibilities:
This is a great opportunity for an individual who would like to expand his/her working experience and social networking as this position involves working with a team of diverse cultural backgrounds. This person will work closely with the Tech Leads, QA team, and other Software Engineers.
Some of the responsibilities as below:
- Develop high-quality software design and architecture
- Identify, prioritize and execute tasks in the software development life cycle
- Develop tools and applications by producing clean, efficient code
- Automate tasks through appropriate tools and scripting
- Review and debug code
- Perform validation and verification testing
- Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to fix and improve products
- Document development phases and monitor systems
- Ensure software is up-to-date with latest best practices
