Butler Hospitality in Kosovo is part of the Butler Hospitality Corporation in New York. 

Butler brings incredible, accessible room service to thousands of hotel rooms throughout the United States. 

In Kosovo, the team offers technical support to the company's operations contributing to the overall aim of the company, which is for guests to have a digitalized hospitality experience. The ambitious team consists of Software Developers, QA Engineers, Designers, Customer Service, Operations and Accounting. 

Who will you work with: Our team of Software Developers and Quality Assurance Engineers are organised into Squads. Squad is a group of 6-7 team members that are autonomous and end-to-end responsible for a specific business need mission. 

We are looking to create new Squads of Software Developers who are Front-end, Back-end and Full stack Developers.

 

Your Profile

• Computer Science/Engineering degree or relevant field
• Proven min. 2 years of experience as Software Engineer (Mid-level to Senior) preferably
• Proficient knowledge in: JavaScript, NodeJS, React, SQL/NoSQL, RESTful microservices
• Prefered experience in: AWS Services, CI/CD pipelines, Serverless framework
• Analytical mind with problem-solving attitude
• Practical knowledge of agile software development methodologies (e.g., XP, scrum)
• Self initiative and organizational skills
• Team player with a can-do attitude

 

Your role

• Develop high-quality software design and architecture
• Identify, prioritize and execute tasks in the software development life cycle
• Develop tools and applications by producing clean, efficient code
• Automate tasks through appropriate tools and scripting
• Review and debug code
• Perform validation and verification testing
• Collaborate with internal teams and other stakeholders to fix and improve products
• Document development phases and monitor systems
• Ensure software is up-to-date with latest best practices
