Job title: System Engineer
Evonem is looking for System Engineers to join our team in Prishtina. This role is part of a challenging project in cloud automation & operations for our Global Leading Partner in Technology Communications.
The System Engineer will work together with the engineering team to provide consultancy and technical support for AWS Cloud Offerings.
Core competencies, knowledge and requirements:
- Cloud AWS architectures design and implementation or related AWS certification
- Knowledge of microservice concepts such as Docker, Kubernetes and Helm
- Experience with monitoring platforms
- Familiar with Agile methodologies
- Higher education degree in IT/Engineering or related field
Your tasks and responsibilities:
- Build, deploy and monitor AWS hosted cloud infrastructure (VPC, EC2, S3, Cloudfront)
- On call rotations for scheduled maintenance windows
- Leverage monitoring platforms such as Instana and Splunk to analyze production application failures
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex failure scenarios revolving AWS and Kubernetes infrastructure.
