Job Description

We are seeking a talented WordPress Developer to join our team. As a WordPress Developer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing attractive and functional websites for PECB. You will work closely with our design team to ensure seamless integration of design and functionality. If you have a passion for web development and a keen eye for detail, we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain PECB websites
• Collaborate with the design team
• Collaborate with other departments
• Customize themes and plugins
• Optimize websites for performance
• Troubleshoot and debug issues
• A thorough understanding of Microsoft Office package (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to present and explain design concepts.
• Strong attention to detail and a keen eye for aesthetics.
• Ability to work independently (with minimum supervision) as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
• Proficiency in English (written & verbal)
• Ability to work well under pressure, grasp new ideas quickly, think outside the box, and be able to keep up with a dynamic environment;
• Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, dynamic environment;
• Willing to learn and grow as well as to challenge and contribute to ideas;
• Excellent interpersonal skills;

 

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a WordPress Developer, with a strong portfolio of WordPress websites.
• Experience with Elementor
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP.
• Experience with responsive and mobile design.
• Strong understanding of WordPress architecture, best practices, and security principles.
• Knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Adobe InDesign, Premiere Pro, After Effects) (advantageous).
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Detail-oriented with a passion for delivering high-quality work.
