Examiner for French Language (Exam Grader)

Overview

We are looking for experienced professionals in the fields of ISO Standards, to join our team as Examiners. 

Examiners will be responsible for grading PECB exams taken by candidates all over the world in an anonymous method according to PECB procedures. The ideal candidates will be fluent in French and/or English, competent in one or more of the ISO Standards schemes, and willing to work full-time with timeline pressure fllowing PECB guidelines of exam grading.

Examiners will be subject to assessment in both professional competencies and language skills. 

PECB is an international certification body for persons, products, and management systems on a wide range of international standards, based in Canada. As a global provider of training, examination, audit, and certification services through a global network of more than 1000 partners, PECB offers its expertise in multiple fields, including but not limited to Information Security, IT, Business Continuity, Service Management, Quality Management Systems, Risk Management, as well as Health, Safety, and Environment.

Responsibilities

• Review and grade exams in accordance with PECB’s Examination Policy and correction keys guidelines;
• Report grade for each item and each candidate;
• Work closely under PECB Examination Manager directives for exam grading and PECB Procedures;

 

Skills & Requirements

• University degree (Master degree is desirable)
• Minimum 2-5 years of professional work experience;  
• ISO related, or other professional certificates highly preferable (for example ISO 27001 Lead Auditor, CISA, ITIL, etc.)
• Proficiency in MS Office
• Proficiency in French (written & verbal)
• Proficiency in English (written & verbal), another language is highly preferable;
• High level of integrity to deal with confidential information
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Must work well under pressure, grasp new ideas quickly, think outside the box, and be able to follow up in a dynamic environment
• Strong multi-tasking skills in a fast paced environment
• Strong team player
• Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong attention to details
