Job Description: Restaurant Marketing Officer

Overview: As a Restaurant Marketing Officer, you will play a crucial role in developing and executing marketing strategies to promote the restaurant and attract a wider audience. You will closely collaborate with a contracted Marketing Agency to ensure cohesive and effective marketing efforts that align with the restaurant's vision and goals.

Responsibilities:

Marketing Strategy Development: 

• Work closely with the contracted Marketing Agency to develop comprehensive marketing plans that align with the restaurant's objectives and target audience.
• Provide insights into the restaurant's unique selling points, target market, and competitive landscape to inform the agency's strategies.

Digital Marketing and Social Media:

• Collaborate with the Marketing Agency to manage the restaurant's online presence, including the website, social media channels, and online listings.
• Ensure the agency creates engaging content for social media platforms to increase brand visibility and customer engagement.

Advertising and Promotions:

• Together with the Marketing Agency, conceptualize and execute marketing campaigns, promotions, and events to drive foot traffic and increase sales.
• Review and approve advertising materials developed by the agency to maintain brand consistency and compliance.

Customer Loyalty Programs:

• Work with the Marketing Agency to design and implement customer loyalty programs that encourage repeat business and enhance customer retention.
• Utilize customer data to personalize marketing efforts and improve customer loyalty initiatives.

Partnerships and Collaborations:

• Collaboratively identify potential partnerships and collaborations with local businesses, organizations, or influencers to expand the restaurant's reach and customer base.
• Participate in negotiations and maintain relationships with partners to ensure mutually beneficial outcomes.

 

Public Relations:
 

• Liaise with the Marketing Agency to manage media relations, organize media events, and prepare press releases to generate positive publicity and media coverage.
• Coordinate with the agency on handling media inquiries and managing online reviews.

Market Analysis and Reporting:

• Collaborate with the Marketing Agency to track and analyze the performance of marketing campaigns and initiatives.
• Provide regular reports to the management team, and collectively use data-driven insights to optimize marketing strategies.
   

Budget Management:

• Work closely with the Marketing Agency to develop and manage the marketing budget, ensuring resources are allocate deffectively for maximum ROI.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Proven experience in restaurant marketing or hospitality marketing.
• Strong understanding of digital marketing tools and social media platforms.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills to collaborate effectively with the Marketing Agency.
• Creativity and ability to think out side the box to devise innovative marketing campaigns.
• Analytical mind set to measure and interpret marketing performance metrics.
• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple marketing initiatives and agency collaborations.

As a Restaurant Marketing Officer, your collaboration with the contracted Marketing Agency will be vital in driving the restaurant's marketing efforts, ensuring a unified brand image, and achieving marketing objectives to support business growth and success.
